Yes mga kapatid. Ang Ladlad for Party-list. #89 siya sa list huwag kalimutan. Eto ang platforms ng grupo:

Quote
  • Support for the Anti-Discrimination Bill that gives LGBT Filipinos equal rights and opportunities in employment and equal treatment in schools, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, entertainment centers, and government offices. The bill makes discrimination versus LGBTs a criminal act.
  • Support for LGBT-related and LGBT-friendly businesses.
  • Setting up of micro-finance and livelihood projects for poor and physically-challenged LGBT Filipinos;
  • Setting up of centers for old and abandoned LGBTs. The centers will also offer legal aid and counseling, as well as information about LGBT issues, HIV-AIDS, and reproductive health. These centers will be set up in key cities of the country.
  • Support for the the bill repealing the Anti-Vagrancy Law that some unscrupulous policemen use to extort bribes from gay men;

At siyempre suportado nito ang Reproductive Health Bill na antagal nang dine-delay sa kongreso. Hopefully maipasa na.

[Malu S. Marin] Just got word from Danton that Ang Ladlad has been accredited by the Supreme Court to run as partylist in the may elections. Woohoo! Legal victory for Filipino LGBTs.

More reason to vote for ANG LADLAD. Remember it's #89 in your list.

Oo nga eh. I was really hoping the SC would rule in favor of Ang Ladlad. Human rights ang pinag-uusapan e. Not religion and their attached moral guidelines.

Yep and we start with our friends. Tapos (they) pay it forward. I hope makakuha tayo ng support for Ang Ladlad dito sa PG4M.

At the moment, baka karamihan di pa nakikita ang importansiya. Pero pagkaron na kayo ng domestic partner at na-hospital siya, baka di kayo bigyan kaagad ng visiting rights. Sa work environment may discrimination sa gender indentity (especially if you're effeminate/butch--for women---or a transgender).

http://www.angladlad.com/?page_id=85

Additional info pa:

How many seats are available under the party-list system?

Twenty percent (20%) of the total membership in the House of Representatives is reserved for party-list representatives, or a ratio of one (1) party list representative for every four (4) legislative district representatives.

How does the party-list system enhance the chances or marginalized or underrepresented parties of winning seats in the House of Representatives?

In the party-list system, no single party may hold more than three (3) party-list seats. Bigger parties which traditionally will dominate elections cannot corner all the seats and crowd out the smaller parties because of this maximum ceiling. This system shall pave the way for smaller parties to also win seats in the House of Representatives.

If individual candidates are not qualified to participate, how will the organized groups be represented in the House of Representatives?

A party shall, not later than March 31, 2001 submit to the Clerk of the Commission, Commission on Elections a list of at least five (5) nominees to represent said party. Once the party obtains the required number of votes, the Comelec shall proclaim the party-list representatives according to their ranking in the list of nominees submitted to Comelec.
